Instructional Plan for Genocide After WWII WebQuest


1. Suffeciantly Detailed
The WebQuest will be detailed where as any teacher, parent or students can ubnderstand the task and all the supplementry
material and resources.

There will be many additional resources

3. Method of linking new knowledge/skills to prior student experience
On the students' page, the students will be given how these genocides have occured after WWII. The students have just finished the book Night by Elie Wiesel and they will use the knowledge from that unit to compare and contrast the other genocides.

4. Estimated of time needed to complete WebQuest
Students will have 3 days of research, 2 days of putting it all togther and 1 32 days for presentations

5. Suggestion for breaking up time if learning activity takes longer than a typical school period.
Computer rooms in the school will be reserved for my class for 2 hours; one before school starts and one after school ends.

6.Grouping of learners
The students will be shown 5 minute clips about each genocide. they then will make a list of which one they want the most
followed by descending order. I will then group the students accordingly as close as possible to their wishes.

7. Provided Links
There will be at least 10 links

8. Extended learning Activities
There will be at least 3 additional links for follow up activities. Most of these will be for relief organizations
